EXPERIENCE A VORTEX!!

What We Offer

DUCK HUNTS

South Dakota duck hunting is unique there is no doubt about that. We are located in the Prairie Pot Hole region. We get out the day before your hunt and scout several of our "honey holes" to find you an active spot. Most spots are over water, but we do run some field hunts as well! You'll be typically either in a layout blind or A frame. Please wear camoflauge with either a face cover or face paint.

EARLY SEASON GEESE HUNTS

The September Early season is a great time to dust off those guns and stack some big piles of honkers. These hunts are typically in cut corn or wheat fields in either layouts or A frames. We average 3 geese per hunter during this time, but you'll have a fair shot at a limit. Just make sure you aim, we can only do so much!

SPRING CONSERVATION SEASON

As our Head Guide Dusty says, "God gave the hunter Honkers so everyone could kill, and gave us Snow Geese to separate the men from the boys. (ladies, we will toughen you up as well) Dusty's ego aside, these hunts are an amazing time to see the migration in full swing. We open these hunts starting Mid-March and run through April. We move around a lot and try to find active feed, however, sometimes we just setup on migration patterns. Hunters are asked to please wear all whites and bring a white facemask. Tyvek is a great, cheap choice!
